My last night playing with trumpeter Trevor Neumann and the band at this incredible production of “Beautiful The Carole King Musical.” I had a blast playing with the orchestra. Thank you Jennifer Wharton for the opportunity.
I am appearing with the orchestra for “Beautiful” on Broadway tonight through Thursday at the Stephen Soundheim Theater in NYC. I get to play some of my favorite hits like “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman.” It’s a great show.

I remember a time when I got called for two or three New Year’s Eve gigs. I would inevitably have to help people find trombone players to make the gigs.
Fast forward to today. I got an email about a New Year’s Eve gig. It was sent to several players with the thought that it might be hard to find someone quickly. I replied to the email within seven minutes. I was too late. I lost a New Year’s eve gig in seven minutes. On top of that, the gig paid less than a club date!!! Times have changed.
I wonder …. do most people feel they have a right to benefit from someone else’s intellectual property for free as long as they don’t get caught. Or do most people know that it’s wrong and take advantage of a system that does not adequately protect a creators intellectual property? #copyright #pirate #torrent #intilectualproperty
Here I am taking a break from my performance schedule to cook home made Italian sauce and pasta with Grandma and Mom. See the process from moms garden to the table. Good cooking is passed down generation to generation. As a professional jazz musician, I can appreciate the similarity of how Jazz is also passed on from generation to generation.
The video is set to music from my latest release “INSPIRATION.”

Tonight I am performing with the “Holiday Inn” Orchestra on Broadway. The wonderful orchestrations are by Larry Blank. Don’t be fooled by his last name, there are no “blank” pages or bars for that matter in this book. 🙂
This is a delightful show with nonstop dance numbers (band playing!) If you can catch it before it closes, I would recommend it.
I am a strong proponent of public transportation. I take NJ Transit into the city (NYC) as my preferred mode of transportation.
