The Struggle To Forgive

In this world premiere of Gary S. Fagin’s new cantata for soprano, mezzo-soprano, baritone and orchestra, the KCO gives voice, hauntingly, to those most affected by the gun epidemic: victims of gun violence and their families. This timely piece has been called “beautiful;” “stunning;” “an important work.”

“The Struggle To Forgive – Confronting Gun Violence in America” will be presented at the Schimmel Center for the Arts (Pace University) on Friday, May 4, 2018, beginning at 7:30pm.

Complex and powerful, the evening will tell the sweeping story of an issue that defines our time—gun violence.
